Shoppers are dashing to Sainsbury's to nab bargains in the mega sale – including trainers which are scanning for 80p | The Sun

IS there any better feeling than heading to your local supermarket, only to come home with a car boot filled with bargains?

Well, not according to these shoppers, who were all delighted after nabbing cut-price deals in Sainsbury's mega sale.

And with prices starting from as little as 80p, it's littler surprise they were rushing online to show them off.

One savvy shopper named Lynsey Hedley posted a photo of the pink sparkly kids Velcro trainers she managed to get her hands on in size 4.

The label makes clear they originally retailed at £15, before then being reduced to half price.

But luckily for Lynsey, when she got them to the till, they scanned at just 80p – a total bargain!
