Palace is back for Winter 2021, and as it showcased in its lookbook the London-based imprint shows no signs of slowing down. Again, it puts a big focus on prints, branded designs, and logos, and for Winter 2021 it also presents some of the best trousers it has produced to date.
At first glance, you’d be mistaken to think this is just a typical Palace presentation. GORE-TEX appears in abundance, but notably comes in the form of corduroy utility pants in a variety of colors that have zipper-equipped cuffed legs, opening to reveal an insulated and Windstopper-fitted interior. Traditional corduroy trousers also appear in a straight leg fit, complete with double-stitching and a five-pocket finish, while two pairs of “Lique” denim jeans also appear, featuring Palace’s moniker inscribed over the legs in an Old English style.
A particular standout is Palace’s “Medieval” trousers, which again channel a Ye Olde theme with the all-over church aesthetic that sees Palace scripture paired alongside religious iconography and stained glass window prints.
