Victoria Beckham rushes onto pitch to give husband David a huge hug after his team wins final match

Twenty four years of marriage, and it's clear Victoria and David Beckham still adore one another.

And on Saturday night Victoria was spotted celebrating her husband's team Inter Miami's triumph by giving him a huge hug after he guided them to win the inaugural League Cup.

David co-owns Inter Miami CF which faced off in a tense final against Nashville – ending in a nail-biting penalty shootout which Miami overcame 10-9.

This was after the game ended in a tense 1-1 draw in front of a packed arena in Nashville.

Alongside David was his wife the fashion designer Victoria, as well as two of their kids Cruz, 18, and daughter Harper, 12.

Following the winning moment in the penalty shootout the Beckhams sprinted onto the pitch to celebrate with the rest of the team.

But at one point, David and Victoria were spotted in an emotional and heart-warming celebration with just each other as Victoria had David's head in her arms as she nestled her cheek against his as the pair looked visibly emotional.

The Beckham family were not the only A-list celebrities in attendance at the much-anticipated game as Reece Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman also showed their faces.

Posh Spice took to her Instagram page to share her overwhelming joy for her husband and the Inter Miami team as she posted pictures from the celebration alongside the caption: "Wow! What a night in Nashville!!!!We couldn’t be prouder @davidbeckham we love you so much xxxx CHAMPIONS @intermiamicf @cruzbeckham #harperseven."

The England legend also took to his own feed to share his pride for the team he co-owns. On his Instagram he wrote: "I’m so proud tonight of what we have achieved as La Familia. Gracias for everything MIAMI @intermiamicf."

Inter Miami showed how much they meant business earlier in the summer after buying Argentine World Cup winner and footballing icon Lionel Messi.

In the post match interview David admitted that he could not believe how much better his side had got since the buying of Messi as the striker netted the team's only goal of the game and converted a penalty in the shootout as well.

In the tunnel after the game, an emotional David said: "I mean, I'm not the biggest fan of penalties. It's never easy watching these games end like this.

"Every penalty was incredible, it was a hell of a night. Nashville put up an incredible fight but it was our night tonight. It's an emotional night for all of us. It has been a long journey for me. It has been a long journey, I always knew there would be bumps in the road along the way and there was too many, to be honest. Tonight is a night we are going to enjoy."
