Amanda Holden’s choice of attire on Britain’s Got Talent often hit the headlines, particularly when she sparked Ofcom complaints over an outfit deemed too revealing by some viewers. But, such backlash hasn’t stopped the 50-year-old from flaunting her physique on screen and on her personal Instagram page.

Earlier this month, the talent judge left very little to the imagination as she flaunted her jaw-dropping body in a yellow bikini while on holiday.

Last month, she also treated fans to a high-angle view of her physique and chest in a barely-there two piece.

Addressing her choice of outfits, she has now said: “I dress for other women and for myself. I don’t dress for men and I dress absolutely how I want to.

“When I’m told I can’t, it makes me do it more.”

Last October, Amanda sparked 235 complaints with a low-cut Amanda Wakeley dress she wore on the Britain’s Got Talent panel.

Recalling her reaction to the comments, she added to Mail Online: “I thought, ‘Amazing!’

“Now for every show they want to know what I’m going to be wearing in advance, and I’m like, ‘I’m going to wear a polo-neck… surprise!'”

The following week, Amanda sparked even more complaints as she continued to flash the flesh on-screen.

The singer said women were always the subject of criticism when it came to outfit choices, as she pointed out that Simon Cowell often had his shirt buttons open.

“I don’t know what people are complaining about,” she continued.

“They sexualise things that are just… there.

“Simon can have all his shirt buttons open down to here and his man boobs out and no one bats an eyelid!”

The actress said she refused to change for at least another 20 years.

“Chris [Hughes, her husband] and I say we’ll just eat and drink what we want and not care,” she stated.

For now, Amanda follows a vegetarian diet, does yoga and runs four times a week.

She previously said of her diet: “For me, it’s lots of avocado, chickpeas, and quinoa salads.

“I’ve been a vegetarian since I was 15, but I do eat fish.

“The children are vegetarian, too, and Chris eats meat, so I often make three different meals.”

But, she doesn’t always stick to a healthy diet, admitting she “splurges” on weekends.

Amanda juggles her career with being a mother to two children; Alexa, 15, and Hollie, nine.
