So here’s a 3.5-minute long example of how to look like a certified baddie. Nicole Onoscopi tapped into Cosmo Queens this week, and she really brought it. It was her bright orange flawless wig that really got me. Plus her beyond glam gloves. And the lime green zebra print. This look just turned the volume all the way up and I lived for it. Nicole first started doing drag about 4 years back, and in that time has developed a super fun drag persona that audiences are loving.
“All of my best drag is inspired by the things that I loved as a child,” Nicole told us. “Whether I’m dancing to Cotton Eye Joe, belting out Smash Mouth, or dressing as Wilma Flinstone, it all has some sort of sentimental value to me. I’ve learned that when you do what you love, it resonates with audiences.”
“Do you know that moment in ‘The Wizard of Oz when Dorothy opens the door to Technicolor Munchkinland for the first time? I always want my audiences to feel that sensation and to be able to escape the black and white of their day-to-day lives.”
