The brand new city beach that's opened this summer – with deck chairs, fish & chip stall and adult-only sessions | The Sun

A NEW city beach has opened in the UK – and it has everything you could need.

Dubbed Walthomstow-on-Sea, the tiny beach is found at Big Penny Social in London.

Guests can grab a deck chair and find a spot on the sand, as well as send a "postcard" from holiday.

There are cocktails and beers on offer, as well as ice creams and classic fish and chips.

You can even rent private beach huts if you want some extra space.

Parents can make the most of the family-friendly day sessions with beach games and parties.

However, adults can also stay later and enjoy the adult-only sessions.

This includes DJs and dating events, which start from 6:30pm, although the beach is open until midnight.

The website states: "Transport yourself to a classic British seaside resort without leaving London!

"At Walthamstow-on-Sea, you can feel the sand beneath your feet as you sip on an ice cold draft beer or frozen cocktail, enjoy a classic soft serve ice cream with a flake, or of course sit down with some fish and chips on the beach from Penny's – our beachfront chippy!"
