First look at new £250k fairytale kids attraction opening in the UK tomorrow | The Sun

A NEW fairytale-themed attraction is launching this weekend – and tickets are on sale now.

The £250,000 attraction is the latest addition to Fairytale Farm in Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire.

Fairy Dell is the brainchild of Fairytale Farm founders Nick and Nicola Laister who partnered with leading attraction designer and builder CAP.co to bring the immersive play area to life.

Inside the new attraction, there will be giant mushrooms, toadstools, raised walkways, bridges, and crawl tunnels.

Guests will be reduced to the size of fairies as they make their way around the play area.

There are also climbing walls, slides, clamber nets, and interactive games.

The Fairy Dell attraction is set to open tomorrow (May 27) just in time for the half-term holidays.

And to celebrate the opening, Fairytale Farm is running a special event: Once Upon a Unicorn and Dragons.

There will be puppet shows, a craft tent, an activity trail with rewards, and dance classes.

Young guests will be able to meet and pose for a photo with the Unicorn Queen, and they're encouraged to dress up as fantasy beasts too.

Nick told the Banbury Guardian: "This development will create a magical new themed area of the farm and has been designed around the different levels in this part of the site.

"It will offer a completely unique and immersive play experience that will be a wonderland for children under the age of 10.

"Importantly, the whole development will be a sensory experience, and large parts of it will be wheelchair accessible, including all the raised walkways."

As well as Fairy Dell, there are five other areas that guests can explore at Fairytale Farm including the adventure play area Huff and Puff.

There's also the Alfie and Friends area where visitors can pet animals like ponies, pigs, and donkeys.

Other activities at Fairytale Farm include the Enchanted Walk with a Mermaid Garden and a Fairytale Street.

Meanwhile, Jack's Yard has a sandpit, a giant rabbit burrow, and a Snow White garden among other features.

And if that isn't enough there's also a Wilderness Walk with a bird feeding station and a giant vegetable patch.

Entry tickets start from just over £7 per person and visitors can save up to £2.80 if tickets are purchased in advance online.

Guests will need to arrive at Fairytale Farm in their allotted time slot.

This isn't the only new attraction coming to the UK this spring.
