Work is keeping Rebel Wilson distracted from thinking about her breakup with Jacob Busch.
“Any kind of breakup is hard and not ideal…I feel like, I don’t know if it’s turning 40 or coming into your own… I feel in a really good place,” Wilson, 40, told “Extra.”
“I am so busy with work, doing [my new show] ‘Pooch Perfect’ now, and I have three movies to shoot after this.”
Page Six reported earlier this month that the Aussie actress and 29-year-old Busch, an heir to Anheuser-Busch, split, with a source close to the “Pitch Perfect” star saying the relationship simply had “run its course.”
The breakup doesn’t seem to be taking too much of a toll on Wilson, who took her newly single self to Super Bowl 2021 with friends and had the time of her life.
Wilson, who recently lost more than 60 pounds, and Busch started dating before the coronavirus pandemic hit. They made their red carpet debut at Prince Albert’s Planetary Health Gala in Monaco in September and posed alongside Kate Beckinsale and Helen Mirren.
