Peppa Pig is an animated character in the television show aimed for pre-school children. The character has been voiced by a number of actors over the years.

Peppa Pig is a huge franchise and has featured on children’s clothing, books and toys, as well as on the small screen.

The show began in 2004 and the seventh season aired in March this year.

Since early 2020, the character has been voiced by Amelie Bea Smith.

Still only 10-years-old, the actor could have a net worth of around $500,000, or £360,000, according to Biography Mask.

This fortune could be even higher, however, as predictions when she took the role estimated she would make £1million in the first year.

In the past, actors who voice Peppa Pig have earned as much at £1,000 an hour.

How much Amelie makes for the role has not been disclosed.

However, it was previously estimated Amelie could be pocket more than those in the role before her due to Peppa Pig’s huge success.

Bosses may also have paid a higher fee to find a voice matching those who previously played Peppa Pig.

The global franchise was acquired by Hasbro in December 2019.

The group took over Entertainment One, which included the Peppa Pig franchise, in a deal worth a whopping $3.8billion, or around £2.74billion.

For many years, and until Amelie took over, the character was voiced by Harley Bird.

She played the role between the ages of five and 18 before leaving in early 2020.

The actor reportedly earned an impressive £1,000 an hour as the show grew.

Harley enjoyed much success with the programme and won a Bafta in 2011.

The actor also voiced the album for Peppa Pig.

She worked on a total of 185 episodes and made up to £12,000 a week, according to some reports.

Earlier this year, it was announced Peppa Pig has been renewed until 2027.

Amelie is sure to continue to earn an impressive sum of money.
