Naomi Campbell announces she is a new mom: 'There is no greater love'

Naomi Campbell is now a mother!

The 50-year-old iconic supermodel made the announcement via Instagram on Tuesday, sharing the first photo of her daughter.

She did not reveal her daughter’s name or birth date in the announcement.

Alongside a photo of the baby’s tiny feet, Campbell wrote, “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother.”

“So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel,” she continued. “There is no greater love.”

The supermodel and actress’ post was flooded with well-wishes and congratulatory remarks. Donatella Versace commented, “Naomi, today I go from being sista to auntie!! I am so so so happy for you and I can’t WAIT to meet her!! Lots and lots of love, Donatella and Allegra ????”

Kerry Washington wrote, “A love unlike ANY other. Congratulations Mama ?????”

Jodie Turner-Smith added, “Many many many congratulations to you and to your family — the village that will now rally around you and support you in cultivating that little angel!!!! what an incredible blessing!!! ???”

Campbell’s mother, Valerie Morris-Campbell, also shared the same image on her own account, along with a message to celebrate welcoming her granddaughter.

“Congratulations to my daughter Naomi on the birth of her daughter, I’m beyond thrilled as I’ve waited a longtime to be grandmother. ❤️? @naomi” she captioned her post.

Campbell has publicly discussed having children before. In 2017, she told the Evening Standard, “I think about having children all the time … but now with the way science is, I think I can do it when I want.”
