Love Island’s Jazmine Nichol had ‘golden ratio’ filler treatments pre-villa

Casa Amor is back, and with a new cast of singletons tasked with finding a connection in just a few short days, it’s no surprise that they pull out all of the stops to look their best, and we assume many contestants may have opted for a few cosmetic treatments before heading into the Love Island villa.

One star hoping to turn heads is 21 year old nightclub manager, Jazmine Nichol. Ahead of the show, the Newcastle-born beauty appears to have enhanced her look with the help of fillers – opting for a “golden ratio” treatment designed to give her fuller lips and the “ideal triangle facial shape”.

In a before snap shared to Instagram by Dr. Elle Claire Reid, the Islander can be seen with a slightly smaller pout and a more rounded face shape – then after her treatment, her lips look bigger, her chin has more of a pointed look and her cheekbones are defined and lifted.

Explaining the process behind her transformation, Jazmine’s aesthetic practitioner writes in the caption: “A little bit of filler goes a long way when it's carefully planned. For Jazmine we did one of my favourite treatment combinations. Lips, chin and cheeks.”

For Jazmine’s pout, Dr Reid reveals that they opted for a “keyhole look” – a popular injection technique where fillers are placed in a way to create a gap between the bottom and top lip.

Dr Reid also explains that she also added filler to the star’s chin to give her face a more “feminine apex” – with filler injected into the cheeks “to top everything off, creating the perfect, ideal inverted facial shape”.

She mentions that this method is known as the “perfect golden ratio”. Historically a mathematical formula, it can now also be used by cosmetic practitioners to perfectly balance out the facial features. This can include injecting filler into the chin, nose or lips to create an aesthetically pleasing ratio.

Jazmine isn’t the only Love Island star this season to get cosmetic work done before entering the villa. Both Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Tasha Ghouri have openly discussed what they’ve tweaked about their appearances on their social media accounts.

In a fan Q&A posted to Instagram proper to the show, Tasha revealed to fans: “I only have had 0.5ml lip filler. Apart from that, nothing else.”

She continues: “We all have insecurities, I have had many thoughts that if I get certain cosmetics would I book more jobs etc? But I’m happy with the way I look & I don’t judge people who do get cosmetics because it’s purely their choice and their happiness.”

Ekin-Su, on the other hand, went through a major transformation before signing up for the show, documenting her veneers and breast augmentation in a stream of Instagram posts.

The bombshell revealed that she’d gone to Dental Design in Antalya, Turkey to get her teeth done, explaining in a Q&A that she had 10 teeth done at the top and 11 at the bottom, and that she’d visited Comfort Zone surgery in Istanbul for a breast augmentation procedure.

There’s been a lot of news around Love Island stars and cosmetics treatments in recent months. After Molly-Mae Hague had her lip and cheek filler removed last year, contestants like Shaughna Phillips, Faye Winter and AJ Bunker have each opted for a more natural look.

We wonder if any of this year’s Islanders will switch up their appearance after the show.
