Over the weekend Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet announced they are expecting a baby boy in an adorable pregnancy reveal.

The Only Way Is Essex couple, who are expecting their first child together, shared the happy news with fans as Georgia posted their adorable gender reveal video on her Instagram page.

In the clip, Georgia is stood next to a bunch of multicoloured balloons, one of which has a giant question mark on.

Tommy pops the balloon and out flies blue confetti to signify they’re having a boy, and, despite already knowing the gender, Georgia and Tommy look over the moon in the clip.

Mum-to-be Georgia, 29, looks super cosy in the clip donning a beige two piece, while Tommy opts for a black tracksuit.

Of course their sweet pooch Monkey joins the TOWIE pair for the big reveal, with Georgia and Tommy both giving him a kiss as the news is revealed.

On Instagram, Best Day Events, based in Brentwood, shared a couple of behind-the-scenes snaps of Georgia’s day too, after providing the decorations for their pregnancy reveal.

The celebrity-favourite company provided the gorgeous balloons in all different shades in a bid to not give the gender away right away.

Holding on to the balloons is an adorable teddy bear sitting in a wicker basket, and cakes were also laid on for the big day by Cakes At Kims.

How the stars of TOWIE have transformed since starring on reality TV and their dramatic makeovers

Georgia showed off a huge white cake with white roses on top and a ‘boy’ sign in silver sitting on top.

Beneath this a marzipan bear could be seen, and little cake lollies with tiny teeth in icing on were also shown off by Georgia.

The pair also had a large gathering of pampas in bright shades in view, adding that pop of colour to the day.

Overall, it looked like Tommy and Georgia had pulled out all the stops to brighten up their lockdown baby reveal with gorgeous edible details.

Celebrity friends of the reality star couple were quick to share their messages of congratulations.

Co-star Shelby Tribble wrote: “Mini Mucklow and Mallet running around causing chaos,” and Mrs Hinch penned: “Absolutely adorable! Congratulations to you all.”

Another fellow mum, Lydia Bright, penned: “Counting down the days until I can meet my little Prince. Love you lots,” and TOWIE’s Courtney Green said: “Ahhhhh bubba boy.”

It comes after Georgia left fans wondering if she had accidentally unveiled her unborn baby’s gender earlier than hoped in January.

She appeared to accidentally let it slip when she took part in an Instagram Q+A on Wednesday 27 January.

When asked if she and boyfriend Tommy will be keeping the baby private from social media and filming, Georgia said: “We will be filming with the baby.”

She then added: “I obviously won’t plaster the baby everywhere but you know,” before going on to appear to say: “It’s part of [her] life.”

It seems that many of her followers messaged her about the clip, however, as Georgia insisted she said “our” rather than “her”.

She wrote on her Instagram Story: “Guys I said “our life”,” alongside a string of laughing faces.
