Spoilers: Will Logan’s medical experiment save Tane’s life in Home and Away?

The aftermath of a vicious chemical attack has left shockwaves in the community. Marilyn (Emily Symons) has been placed in an induced coma after a delayed reaction, Martha’s (Belinda Giblin) organs are failing and Tane (Ethan Browne) is worst affected as the one who was the primary target.

Mia (Anna Samson), Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) and Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) have been spending their time watching Tane from a distance in hospital, waiting for the toxin exposure to decrease enough so they can be at his side. Finally, the time comes when they can enter his room and they begin wondering when he will wake up.

They question Logan (Harley Bonner) for a prognosis, but to their frustration he is unable to provide a definitive update. Instead, the doctor himself seems confused by the medical mystery and hints that Tane should be awake by now – which both angers and scares the Paratas.

After some thought, Logan approaches Ari with a proposition – there is a medical solution which could help Tane to regain consciousness, but it comes with risks. He suggests the use of bio-scavengers, a solution which is only theoretical or in early stages of clinical trials.

Logan says that the treatment is the only one which has the potential to bring Tane back, but it could also go wrong.

Ari is left as the one to decide whether or not he will take a gamble with the risky medical procedure.

Will he take a chance and see if it works out?
