HelloFresh has just added 16 energy saving recipes to its offering as a way to help Brits combat energy price increases.

Every recipe can be made without using an oven, which is one of the costliest home appliances to run.

Plus, meals only take 30 minutes or less to cook, so you don’t have to worry about spending too much time using the hob.

Shoppers can now pick five new recipes every week from just £3.15 per person.

Available throughout November, new shoppers can also get 60 percent off their first box and 25 percent off their first two months.

This means their first box can cost as little as £1.26, which is cheaper than some UK supermarkets meals.

The new recipe range includes a variety of cuisines including Thai-inspired noodles, pasta dishes and curries.

Mouth-wateringly delicious, each meal encourages shoppers to use less energy and you can easily find energy saving meals by its label online.

Mimi Morley, Recipe Development Manager at HelloFresh said: “We are all feeling the pinch this winter, so we wanted to create a range of recipes that could help keep energy costs down in the kitchen. Our new Energy Saving recipes are all quick and easy to prepare and don’t require the use of an oven, helping to keep gas and electricity use down, without compromising on taste, enjoyment and quality.”

Highlights from the energy saving meals include the Korma and Mango Chutney Glazed Chicken with Green Beans, Couscous and Tomato Salsa, Indo Chinese Style Chilli Paneer with Stir-Fried Veg and Basmati Rice and Spiced Pork Noodles with Stir-Fried Pepper, Lime and Peanuts.
