Kate Middleton has appeared at Clitheroe Community Hospital in another surprise royal appearance. The Duchess of Cambridge has joined Prince William for the day, as both are joined Royal Patrons of NHS Charities. Today they both visited the hospital to hear how a grant from NHS Charities has helped support exhausted colleagues.
For her visit, Kate wore a stunning floor-length camel coat.
The outerwear piece featured a double breasted closure and stopped just above her ankles.
Kate’s camel wool coat is a repeat wear by Massimo Dutti.
Camel coats have long been hailed a wardrobe stable due to their timelessness and versatility.
The look can be dressed down with trainers and up with heels or boots.

The classic piece is a good investment as it is ideal for long-wear and will presumably never go out of style.
The buttoned coat looked so regal on Kate, who also wore a coffee coloured roll neck jumper underneath.
Kate’s tan knit roll neck jumper is also a repeat wear from Reiss, which has since sold out.
The Duchess styled her hair in her signature wavy curls and wore natural makeup.
Kate could also be seen wearing sturdy looking camel heeled boots, perfect for the January weather.
Royal fans were ecstatic to see Kate out two days in a row.
They took to Twitter to express their support for the Duchess.
Twitter user @loveforcambridg wrote: “I didn’t expect to see them today!
“This is such a lovely surprise!”
Meanwhile, royal fan @Irishsara1980 added: “Kate Kate Kate!” in excitement.
Another fan called @CambridgeLiana said: “Amazing surprise!”
Twitter user @BillyDouglass7 commented saying: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are a beautiful couple on the inside and out!
“They have hearts of gold!”
However, some royal fans believe Kate’s new style with the floor-length coats verges on the style of Meghan Markle., who would often wear long floor length coats when a working member of the Royal Family.
Royal fan @MadamShaz79 said: “She looks like Meghan Markle in these coats.”
Thrilled to welcome the Royals, Professor Eileen Fairhurst, Chairman of East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “I am delighted to welcome the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Clitheroe Community Hospital.
“The visit will provide a huge boost to the entire team at a time when colleagues are feeling exhausted from our ongoing and relentless response to Covid and indeed the very difficult challenges linked to the Omicron variant.”
