XYN Announces Inaugural Collection and "ALXYN" Collab With 1071 ALYX 9SM

Standing out as one of Seoul’s most influential creatives, Seung-Ho “Xin” Yang has made a name for himself internationally with his enigmatic nature, distinct style and innovative outlook.

Returning to South Korea after attending Central Saint Martins, Xin started his career as a stylist for YG Entertainment‘s trailblazing 2NE1 K-pop girl group and most recently serving as a Creative Consultant for PEACEMINUSONE, assisting on G-Dragon‘s Act III: M.O.T.T.E World Tour . Aside from his major entertainment projects, the reclusive international fashion figure has quietly implanted his influence throughout the industry near and far.

Earlier this week, Xin took to Instagram to announce the launch of his very own fashion label, simply named “XYN.” XYN is set to debut with its inaugural “2016 SPRING FALL” collection which reflects Xin’s personal style referencing his relationship with fashion and addressing some aspects that are currently missing. Maintaining the cryptic nature, the first range from XYN is expected to introduce its signature “X” design and custom hardware with a focus on the color black.

Building on his relationship with Matthew M. Williams, Xin has also prepared a limited-edition capsule collection with 1071 ALYX 9SM. Dubbed “ALXYN,” the special range features a zip-up hoodie, T-shirt and phone bag along with a tag that mashup map of New York (the origin city of 1017 ALYX 9SM) and Seoul (the origin city of XYN). The graphics features throughout the “ALXYN” capsule utilize a thermoresponsive material that allows the prints to change color ins response to touch.

The inaugural “2016 SPRING FALL” collection and limited XYN x 1071 ALYX 9SM “ALXYN” capsule will be released exclusively at BOONTHESHOP’s Casestudy March 12.
