Social Status and Just Don Honor the Pittsburgh Steelers With New Shorts Collaboration

Paying homage to the founder and owner of Social Status’ hometown of Pittsburgh, the boutique has teamed up with Just Don on a pair of shorts. Led by designer Don C, the Chicago native’s Just Don brand is known for its iconic basketball shorts and has a storied history of working with prominent streetwear labels. This collaboration is part of the Whitaker Group’s COLOR CODE program, a collaborative program for Black and minority designers and brands to create exclusive products in partner with the experiential group’s brands such as A Ma Maniére and Social Status.

Constructed in 100% polyester, this mesh pair of basketball shorts features prominent Steelers branding on the front. The Steelers’ logo and name is embroidered and if the gold and black colors of the short didn’t already give it away, people will certainly notice the connection to the football team. An additional bit of embroidery is included on the back with the Just Don logo resting above two zip pockets. Slits at the side hems, an adjustable waistband and two side pockets round out the detailing.

For those interested in purchasing a pair, they are available now for $400 USD via Social Status.
