PROTOTYP's FW21 Collection Establishes Outlook of Forms and Deviation

Following an array of initial releases, Taiwan’s PROTOTYP has now released its first collection. The Fall/Winter 2021 range centers around the theme of “company” in its establishment of an outlook of forms and deviation.

Inspired by uniforming and contemporary workwear, PROTOTYP has crafted utilitarian wares around the idea of assisting all employees with their duties. The APR0120 Uniform Jacket (Trainee Edtion) and matching APR0220 Uniform Pants (Trainee Edtion) utilize a breathable water-repellent material in black for a futuristic look. The short boxy fit of the jacket and back zipper slit bottoms introduce silhouettes marked by functional elements like concealed zippers, snap buttons, rugged YKK zippers, heavy pocketing and Tyvek ID tags.

Aside from the OCT0120 TRMNL Slit Pants and MAY0120 Staff Track Pants, PROTOTYP has also prepared street-leaning wearables like the JUN0120 Trainee Hoodie and a selection of graphic T-shirts. Rounding up the collection is headwear like the MAR0320 Quote Bucket Hat, MAR0420 FD Sunblock Cap and AUG0120-Sunblock Head, along with the moisture-wicking, anti-odor, UV protection DEC0219-Sunscreen Arm Covers.

Maintaining the tonal aesthetic of the collection, PROTOTYP branding is kept minimal with just 3M reflective logo prints throughout.

Priced betweeen $1,280 and $6,580 NTD (approximately $45 and $235 USD), PROTOTYP’s FW21 collection is available now at HYST.
