OAMC Links With Roden Gray for Cyanotype Graphic Liner Jackets

Vancouver-based multi-brand retailer Roden Gray and its fellow Canadian label OAMC have come together for the release of a very limited edition version of the latter’s signature liner jacket.

As per the Luke Meier and OAMC philosophy, each liner jacket is slightly unique from the next one. However, all are presented in an overdyed blue tone and come fitted with a graphic on the back using the cyan-blue cyanotype printing method, depicting wildflowers — which is also noted above the image in faded text.

On the front, OAMC’s moniker is embroidered in white thread on the left-hand side where you’d expect to find a pocket (although, there isn’t), and that pretty much rounds out the piece. However, its simplicity is what makes the OAMC liner jacket so perfect, wearable all year round and pairable with all kinds of outfits, especially if you want to channel a vintage military aesthetic with a contemporary twist.

The collaborative jacket has been captured by photographers Jomar Victoria and Nelson Tam who’s work begs the question: “What does it mean to pay attention to our immediate physical environment? Most of the time beauty exists just around the corner of where we are.”

Roden Gray’s exclusive OAMC liner jacket will release on its website on September 10. Take a closer look at the piece above.
