William Shatner gets emotional after Blue Origin landing

William Shatner, 90, was comforted by Jeff Bezos earlier today following his successful flight to space. The Star Trek legend was visably emotional following his short flight.
After landing safely, he was seen speaking to Jeff about his flight.
He said: “What you have done, everybody needs to see, it was unbelievable, unbelievable.”
The actor then started crying as the Amazon and Blue Origin founder Jeff comforted him.
He added: “You’re looking into blackness, and you look down and there’s the blue down there and the black up there.
Amazon founder Jeff and William then tearfully embraced as they discussed the rocket launch.
William added: “I hope I never recover from this. I hope I can maintain what I feel now.
“I don’t want to lose it, it’s so much larger than me and life.”
William blasted off on the Blue Origin rocket earlier today, making him the oldest man to go to space.
The Captain Kirk star was aboard the capsule with three others as it took off from the Texas desert.
The trip lasted only around 10 minutes before the crew landed safely back on Earth.
William was joined by Blue Origin vice president Audrey Powers on the flight.
The other two crew members were paying customers, Chris Boshuizen and Glen de Vries.
People around the world were able to watch the rocket launch around 4pm.
When it landed safely back on Earth, Jeff was the first to open the capsule to check on everyone.
He flew in Blue Origin’s first flight back in July on the New Shepard.
This carried his brother Mark Bezos, teenager Oliver Daemen and aviator Wally Funk.
