TV personality Jeremy Kyle hit headlines this week as he announced he is set to become a father for the sixth time at the age of 58.
He told how he’s set to welcome a daughter in the coming months, after he and Victoria, 39, welcomed their son Oliver, in 2020.
But Jeremy is not alone as a host of well-known male stars are famous for expanding their broods later in life.
Earlier this year Jude Law, 50, became a father of seven children with four mothers as his wife Phillipa Coan, 35, welcomed their second child together.
In addition big names such as Mick Jagger – who welcomed his youngest child in his late sixties -, Simon Cowell, Ronnie Wood and Al Pacino have added to their families much later in life.

Jeremy revealed this week that he’s set to become a father for the sixth time as his wife Victoria is pregnant with their second child.
The broadcaster, 58, shared the news that he’s set to welcome a daughter in the coming months, after he and Victoria, 39, welcomed their son Oliver, in 2020.
Speaking to The Sun, Jeremy said he and Victoria, who he married in 2021, are ‘over the moon’ to be welcoming another child early next year, adding his family will be ‘complete.’
It comes as Jeremy prepares to join forces with former Coronation Street star Nicola Thorpe to front a brand new TalkTV breakfast show, starting next month.
He said: ‘Vic says I need to set up a side business by bottling it because I’m 58 and I’ve only got one testicle, but everyone knows that anyway.
‘The other kids are really happy, although my eldest Harriet thinks I need sectioning.
‘I personally think it’s my late parents having a laugh from up above, to be honest.’

‘We’re all planning a massive vacation somewhere. It’s hard to get them all together because they are all off in different directions. But I am so proud of them.’
Al Pacino
He’s widely recognised as The Godfather, but off-screen Al Pacino has a rather more intimate family connection as a father of four.
His rep confirmed on June 15 that he welcomed his fourth child, a son named Roman with his young lover Noor Alfallah.
Despite never marrying, the 83-year old has enjoyed numerous high-profile romances since establishing himself as one of Hollywood’s finest acting talents in the early ’70s.
And two of them have resulted in children, with Pacino welcoming daughter Julie Marie, his eldest child, with acting coach Jan Tarrant in 1989.
A later relationship with actress Beverly D’Angelo produced twins Anton James and Olivia Rose in January 2001, just three months before he celebrated his 61st birthday.

But while Pacino continues to enjoy the limelight, his children have largely shied away from the public eye.
Born on October 16, 1989, Julie was raised in New York City and soon developed aspirations to follow her famous father into the film industry.
After studying at the New York Film Academy, she launched production company Poverty Row Entertainment with close friend Jennifer DeLia in 2009.
To date the company has produced short projects including music videos and branded content, with an emphasis on themes such as gender and sexuality.
Her work has led to a series of accolades, among them the award for best director at the Venice Shorts Film Festival in 2020 and the silver award for comedy at the Hollywood Gold Awards.
She said: ‘As a production company, we have produced music videos and commercials as well.

‘The short format work we do is so much fun. It’s great to be able to work on something from start to finish and have that on-set experience. I learn something new every time.’
Pacino launched second production company Tiny Apples in 2020, with new series Harmony in Gold – co-written by the filmmaker – announced shortly afterwards.
‘We are excited to announce Tiny Apples,’ she said in a press release. ‘We welcome the wild and can help bring your craziest expressions to life.
‘Tiny Apples will create the type of content that we would want to watch: fun, dark, immersive stories that people can connect with.’
Born via IVF in Los Angeles on January 25, 2001 with twin sister Olivia, Anton is perhaps the most reclusive of Pacino’s three children.
Unlike many people of his generation, the 22-year old has no social media footprint and appears to shy away from the spotlight.
Infrequent photos of Anton have captured out and about in southern California, while his red carpet appearances alongside Pacino have been rare over recent years.
Speaking to The Guardian in 2015, Pacino said: ‘Before I had my three, I’d walk around in my own head, not noticing anything. Acting used to be everything; now, because of them, it’s just a small part.’
Actress mother Beverly D’Angelo, who played Ellen Griswold in the National Lampoon’s Vacation franchise, recently opened up about her relationship with Pacino — who will be a 100 when his fourth child turns 18 — and how they overcame ‘complicated’ split to lovingly co-parent Anton and Olivia.
‘My story with Al began 27 years ago, two artists meeting, falling in love,’ she said on Instagram earlier this month.
D’Angelo said that they ‘lived together for seven years, had two children’ and eventually ‘broke up.’
Despite their split, she wrote, they ‘continued steadily on [their] journey as co parents – and came to share [their] lives with a deeper kind of intimacy, honesty and acceptance than a ‘traditional’ relationship would have allowed.’
Unlike her twin brother, Olivia has a very active social media presence and frequently gives her 16,000 followers updates on her life in Los Angeles.

In June 2020 she paid tribute to her famous dad on Father’s Day, posting: ‘Happy Father’s Day to the most amazing father ever! You are my best friend.’
Mum D’Angelo previously revealed that she and Pacino bonded through their mutual passion of their craft.
She said: ‘I lived with Al for seven years and we have two children; in 1996, we were on the same plane going from Los Angeles to New York.
‘He was seated in front of me, he said come up and sit beside me and by the time the plane landed, it was on.’
She said that the following year, ‘He looked me in the eye and said, ‘I want you to be the mother of my children.”
She continued, ‘Although I’d avoided that role my while life, I was deeply in love and I was 100 percent in.’
She said that they completed a round of in vitro fertilization in 1997, and ‘with a lot of effort and the miracles of modern science,’ they welcomed their twins in 2001.
But eventually, things ‘got complicated’ and their ‘split was finalized in 2004.’
She added, ‘The power of our love for our children was the basis for resolving any conflicts and creating a new history as co-parents, leading individual lives separately but always intertwined as a family.’
Simon Cowell
Simon has his first child when he was 53.
His partner Lauren Silverman gave birth to their son Eric in 2014.
The America’s Got Talent judge, now 63, was a self-proclaimed bachelor before starting a family with Lauren, 46.
Simon previously admitted that becoming a father changed his life, and has spoken about whether he would expand his family with Lauren.
‘Before Eric, my life was 99 per cent work. I was obsessed with it,’ he admitted in a previous interview with The Sun.
Happy: Simon has his first child when he was 53. His partner Lauren Silverman gave birth to their son Eric in 2014
He added: ‘Now Eric is around, I don’t work through the night anymore. If he hadn’t come along, God knows what would have happened.’
Back in 2015, Lauren said: ‘I think if you have one child it would be lovely to have a girl.
‘When I was pregnant with Eric I was told by the doctors he was a girl. But he just fooled them. There were a few names floating around but we had our name picked out and it would be lovely to have a girl.’
She jokingly added: ‘The only problem is that I will feel sorry for her when she is older because she won’t be able to leave the house, and no man would dare come near here because Simon would be so protective.’
