Stacey Solomon has announced she and fiancé Joe Swash have adopted an adorable sausage dog puppy.
Loose Women star Stacey, 31, shared the happy news on her Instagram with a series of cute photos and videos of the new family addition and explained to her fans the couple’s decision to take on the pup.
Stacey began by posting a screenshot of a post of the dog from its original owner, who explained that they were looking for a “unique loving family” for the little pooch.
Writing on top of the image, Stacey explained: “So a few weeks ago I came across this post… And you know when you see something and you just feel likes it’s a sign or it’s meant to be…

“Well at least that’s how I pitched it to Joe anyway” followed by a laughing face emoji. “So after a lot of consideration and thought lots of talks and loads of research, finding out all of the information about him and checking it all out thoroughly.
“We decided to give him a home that he needed…”
Mum of three Stacey then posted a video of her older sons Zachary and Leighton meeting the dog and continued to explain to her 4.1 million followers: “It was not a decision we took lightly… I haven’t had another dog since I got theo 10 years ago so we have spent the last few weeks getting to know him
“And he has settled in so well. And he is so loved”.
Stacey, who recently hit back after being criticised for letting her son play in the snow without gloves, continued: “But most importantly because it was the thing I was most cautious about…
“Theo absolutely adores him she smiles so much she’s with him and I almost feel bad for not finding her a friend sooner”.
Explaining how the two dogs have bonded, she added: “The nap together, play together and wait for Rex’s food spills together” followed by a laughing face emoji. [sic]
She added: “And then when he gets too playful Theo jumps up on the sofa for Rex cuddles… Puppy hasn’t worked that one out yet”.
In a later post, Stacey shared a clip of her sitting with the pup to reveal the family are yet to decide on a name.
Speaking in the clip she said: “Home sweet home and here he is. Our newest little boy. Your messages and comments are so lovely I love you lot so much.
“We still don’t know what to call him. Joe loves Bruno and Frank, I like Barney and Ralph, Zachy and Leighton like Peanut. So we just don’t know.”

Stacey later posted a photo of her and Joe’s son Rex, one, cuddling the new dog and wrote alongside it: “Welcome to our family little one.
“Another little boy for us all to love. And we love you so very much.
“Sometimes things just happen for a reason and souls come in to our lives just when they’re meant to.
“We still haven’t worked out what your name is yet but we know you’ll let us know. We love you puppy”.
