Piers Morgan, 56, recently said he has “no idea” what his next career move will be following his departure from Good Morning Britain and now it appears as though he has something in the bag. The presenter quit the ITV show last month after sparking 51,000 Ofcom complaints with comments about Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle.
Today, he left his fans guessing as he tweeted: “Just got some incredible news. Will post a bit later.”
One user wrote: “Your going to GB news.”(sic)
A second commented: “Is it your own breakfast show on @GBNEWS?
“I hope so because we’re all a bit lost in the mornings – I’ve resorted to just being on your Twitter every morning.”
A third added: “GB news? A This Week type of show? Hurry up and share the news.”
Others joked he may have made up with Meghan following his comments about her.
The father-of-four said he didn’t believe a word she said in her interview with Oprah Winfrey, where she opened up about her time in the Royal Family.
The Duchess of Sussex married Prince Harry in 2018 and the pair stepped down from their senior duties last year.
Others suggested Piers may announce he will become a grandfather, like Eamonn Holmes did today.
