Stacey Solomon, 32, has been left panicking over taking on another Christmas task while her “brain is broken” after welcoming her baby daughter Rose with fiancé Joe Swash, 39. The Loose Women panellist was less than impressed with her sister Jemma Solomon, who landed her in it with her son Rex, two, by teasing the reappearance of Elf on the Shelf.

The mum-of-four filmed Jemma cuddling Rex and fussing over Rose, while she exclaimed: “When’s the elfie coming?”

Stacey sternly replied: “No, elfie not coming!”(sic)

After Rose kicked her legs in the air, Jemma encouraged: “Oh, do you want to see elfie too?”

Rex then excitedly asked: “When’s elf coming?”

Trying to shut down the idea, Stacey quickly said: “Oh, what elf?”

The star went on to tell fans that Jemma was planning on getting her “revenge” on Stacey for putting the Elf on the Shelf duties on her last Christmas.

Stacey captioned the video in view of her 4.8 million followers: “@label.lady.1 thanks a lot Jem…

“So my sister’s been secretly telling Rex all about the cheeky elf that visits every day in December…

“She wasn’t happy he didn’t visit ours last year but he had to visit her house every day so this is her revenge.”

In a follow-up post, Stacey issued a plea for help as she was lacking inspiration for the festive tradition.

The presenter penned: “Elf help please!

“Let’s be honest I can’t even get myself dressed these days.

“Or remember the days of the week if I’m honest so this should be interesting.

“I reckon if he visits once or twice a week that’ll be exciting enough won’t it?

“I need some serious inspiration so if any of you have any good ideas please share them with me.

“My brain is broken.”

Elf on the Shelf is a tradition used to surprise children, as the elf is hidden and displayed in different areas throughout the house before Christmas.

It’s the job of the elves to watch over youngsters during the festive period starting from December 1 so they can report back to Santa and let him know who has been good or not.

Stacey’s plea comes after she suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction yesterday.

The busy mum went out and about with her fiancé Joe and their youngest child Rose without realising she was wearing see through leggings.

Stacey fumed that Joe “let me walk around in them all day without even letting me know”.
