Heartwarming secret message inside Nicola Peltz’s wedding dress and embroidered ‘evil eye’

Nicola Peltz had a heartwarming secret message sewn into the skirt of her wedding dress.

The actress, who recently married beau Brooklyn Beckham in a star-studded ceremony, shared behind the scenes details of her big day in an interview with Vogue Magazine.

The newlyweds might still be packing on the PDA, but a special mother-daughter moment takes precedent when it comes to public displays of affection.

In the lead-up to her £3m wedding at Nicola’s parents’ £76 million Miami mansion, mum Claudia asked the seamstress to make a special alteration to her daughters' dress.

The final product, a custom made by Pierpaolo Piccioli of Valentino Haute Couture, was the result of a year's worth of planning and design.

It featured an open back, delicate lace veil and 11ft train.

But what Nicola didn't know until after the ceremony, which hosted the likes of Victoria Beckham, Serena Williams and TV chef Gordon Ramsay, is that Claudia had concealed a secret embroidered addition.

For the 'something blue', Claudia had asked the dressmaker to sew an evil eye in to the skirt of the gown.

It was a symbolic gesture with the evil eye used to watch over and protect Nicola on her big day.

She also added a discreet finishing touch in baby-blue thread.

The message read: “Nicola, my heart. You are me, I am you. All my love, all my life, my beautiful girl, inside and out. Love, mom.”

Nicola said: “I’m happy she showed that to me after the ceremony because I just burst into tears.”

While husband and wife are out on the town enjoying date nights in their honeymoon period, it's not all loved-up bliss with an alleged feud between Nicola and her brother-in-law Romeo's new 19 year old girlfriend Mia Regan.

The Daily Mail reported that tensions are thought to be so high that Victoria has stepped in to "organise a clear-the-air girls' lunch" between Nicola, 27, Mia and herself.
