Gwyneth Paltrow nourishes her skin with eye masks during flight

Gwyneth Paltrow does self-care in the skies as she treats herself to eye mask during flight

Gwyneth Paltrow proved self-care can be done anywhere in her latest Instagram post.

The wellness queen, 50, nourished her skin with a pair of eye masks as she took a flight to an unknown destination.

Her skin was glowing as she kicked back in her chair with just a touch of blush and mascara enhancing her complexion.

The mother-of-two kept her travel attire simple, opting for a grey tank top, chain necklace, with her blonde hair worn down.

The selfie, posted by Gwyneth’s Goop account on Saturday, was in promotion of her Skin Rescue Kit, a package of products intended to combat dry and dull skin.

The kit, which contains eye masks, balm, face cream, and a ‘morning-glow’ drink’, is normally available for $408.00 but is now priced at $285.60.

Last year Gwyneth opened up about her health while speaking with DailyMail.com at the Gwyneth Paltrow for Copper Fit – Feel the Fit Event at The Proper Hotel in Santa Monica, California.

She said taking care of her health is a must – especially now.

‘It’s important to feel great and these products really help me because they offer support, they support the way women work and live,’ the star shared as she added she has found a way to make wearing sky-high heels bearable with the help of arch bands that help tame Plantar Fasciitis.

‘Understanding that our bodies need support is OK.’

‘I love their stuff, they really work,’ she added of Copper Fit’s many products.

And she uses a range of the products for ‘support,’ she said.

For her feet, she has on the arch supports. Paltrow said she was wearing one of the products to the event, a band around her feet under her strappy shoes. ‘Ladies, we need these when we have heels on,’ she said.

The gloves are good for her hands. ‘They offer relief after texting a lot.’

And the compression gripper socks are helpful for when she does yoga: ‘Their compression socks are a must.’

The star also shared that ever since she broke her knee in 2008 she likes to have on the knee band when working out.

The mother of two looked youthful at the party in a beige dress with black high heels as she addressed the crowd with a speech about a pain-free life. There were also aromatherapy oils given out by Kristin Culverwell of Wish Wellness in Los Angeles.

Gwyneth has been talking up Copper Fit since she joined the brand in late 2021.

Paltrow has in the past been very open about what is feels like to be 50.

She has also talked about ageing on GOOP: ‘My body, a map of the evidence of all the days, is less timeless. A collection of marks and irregularities that dog-ear the chapters. Scarred from oven burns, a finger smashed in a window long ago, the birth of a child. Silver hair and fine lines.

‘The sun has left her celestial fingerprints all over me, as if she soaked a brush in dark-taupe watercolor, flecking it over my skin,’ she noted.

And while she strives for good health and longevity to stave off weakening muscles and receding bone, ‘I have a mantra I insert into those reckless thoughts that try to derail me: I accept. I accept the marks and the loosening skin, the wrinkles. I accept my body and let go of the need to be perfect, look perfect, defy gravity, defy logic, defy humanity. I accept my humanity.’
