Gordon Ramsay showcases toned torso as he poses on Maldives beach with son Oscar

Gordon Ramsay has showcased his toned physique as he posed on a beach in the Maldives with his adorable two year old son Oscar.

The 55 year old, whose daughter Holly recently revealed that she made the decision to give up alcohol during her 'lowest' point of 2020, posed on the powder white beach at the luxurious Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences.

Hell's Kitchen star Gordon appeared every inch the doting dad as he played on the sand with Oscar, who he shares with wife Tana Ramsay, 47, before walking with the toddler on his shoulders on New Year's Day.

Meanwhile the dad-of-five, who also shares Megan, 23, Holly, Jack, both 22, and Matilda, 20, with Tana, flaunted his muscular torso as he posed alongside Oscar in matching blue trunks.

Captioning the collection of snaps to his 13.2million Instagram followers, he penned: "Little Man Big Man Happy New Year lots of love from all the Ramsay’s."

Gordon garnered more than 166,000 on the post with fans commenting on his trim physique and his likeness with Oscar.

One penned: "He’s such a mini clone of you, even with attitude it seems."

Another added: "Wow. Happy new year."

It comes after his daughter Holly celebrated one year of sobriety and revealed she made the decision to give up alcohol during her "lowest" point in 2020.

Holly also admitted that the decision to ditch booze wasn't made lightly and isn't necessarily a permanent lifestyle change.

"Today marks one year without alcohol," her statement began. "This is not something I thought I would ever say at the age of 21. However, by 21 (nearly 22), I never thought I would've been through half of what I have."

Holly continued: "I choose to take a break from alcohol because it wasn't improving my mental health – which for me, comes first."

Giving further context to her situation, she added: "This time last year I was at my lowest, and I was scared but I made a decision to take control of what I could – and that meant removing alcohol from my life," the 21 & Over with Holly host confesses.

"It was not an easy decision, nor one that I have taken lightly. I won't say this is forever, but this is for now. Living without alcohol has helped me feel better and more present both mentally and physically.

"Don't get me wrong, I've had a year of high highs and low lows, but I'm grateful I have myself the chance to work through them consciously rather mask my feelings (good and bad) with a drink."

Holly went on to explain that she discovered the "the hard way" that alcohol and antidepressants "do not mix well at all".

"As with everything I have been through, it has been a learning experience and I feel lucky to be able to post this message today, to continue to spread awareness and break the stigma surrounding mental health," she concluded.

In her accompanying caption, Holly wrote: "For anyone who needs this. Continue to take it day by day, as will I."
