Channel 4 is forced to address huge Celebrity Gogglebox issue as they face ‘technical difficulties’
Channel 4 has been forced to admit a huge issue after viewers were left fuming after Friday night’s Celebrity Gogglebox.
The broadcaster released a statement apologising for a technical glitch which affected their website and meant fans were not able to watch Gogglebox on demand.
The problem also wreaked havoc for Channel 4 News and The Last Leg.
Taking to social media, a Channel 4 rep apologised to viewers for the problem.
They penned: ‘We’re aware of technical difficulties which means tonight’s News, Gogglebox & The Last Leg won’t be available on our on-demand streaming service.

‘We’re working hard to fix it’: The broadcaster released a statement following a technical glitch affecting their website which caused fans to not be able to watch Gogglebox on demand
‘Sorry about that but rest assured we’re working hard to fix it and normal service should resume by tomorrow.
‘Those shows should still be available on normal live TV though, so you don’t have to miss them.’
During the episode stars were left in tears as they watched heartbreaking diver death scenes on the Channel 4 show.
Famous names including Clare Balding and Gregg Wallace struggled with their emotions as they watched one deep diver lose his life to save his girlfriend on new Netflix documentary, The Deepest Breath.
In the programme, a woman named Alessia Zecchini attempted to tackle one of the deadliest dives in the world at a location known as the Blue Hole, which has previously claimed over 100 lives.
However, the dive, in which Alessia was assisted by her safety diver partner Steve Keegan went horribly wrong, resulting in Steve tragically losing his life.
Following the shocking incident, it was revealed that Steve had drowned while trying to save his love Alessia, with the heartbreaking last photo of the couple together shown on screen.

And watching the sad scenes unfold, the Celebrity Gogglebox stars struggled to hold back tears, with MasterChef star Gregg Wallace taking off his glasses to wipe his eyes.
While a weeping Clare Balding was consoled by wife Alice, who handed her a box of tissues.
Sitting stunned at the shock death, Clare said: ‘That’s just awful. He did save her’.
Other stars visibly moved by the scenes included Scott Mills, who watching alongside Sam Ryder, noted: ‘‘That is so powerful.’
While Rylan Clark, Ricky Tomlinson, Sue Johnston and Jon Richardson were also left upset.
