BRITS are ditching the cold UK this winter – and heading for bargain Spanish campsites instead.
Parts of Spain remain much warmer than England, with some areas having highs of 20C in December and January.
And with short flights and cheap breaks, this attracts thousands of Brits who want some winter heat.
But rather than a two-week stay, you could opt to spend most of the winter in the European hotspot – with bargain 10-week breaks.
The Caravan and Motorhome Club has revealed some of the campsites where you can enjoy a long stay for just £12 a night.
The breaks, which include a return ferry crossing with P&O from Dover to Calais, would see Brits spend six to 10 weeks in sunny Spain.
