RYANAIR passengers face paying an extra £55 for their flights this summer if they make a simple mistake.
The low-cost airline requires travellers to check in before they get to the airport – those that don't will be in for a nasty surprise.
Ryanair states on their website that it is free to check in for flights, with Flexi Plus passengers given 60 days and everyone else given 24 hours before their flight.
The latest you can check in is two hours before the flight.
However, if you fail to do this, then you will be charged £55 at the airport to check in.
Passengers heading to Spain will face a smaller fine of £30.

Make sure you have printed your boarding pass or have it on your phone – failure to do so will still in include a fine of £20.
You will need to print your boarding pass for some destinations, such as Turkey, Morocco and Kefalonia in Greece as they don't accept mobile passes.
The airline also has strict rules when it comes to their hand luggage allowances.
Ryanair passengers can only take a small personal bag into the cabin free of charge, measuring a maximum of 23cm x 20cm x 40cm.

To be able to take a suitcase into the cabin, passengers need to purchase priority boarding.
But one woman revealed the clever way she gets around Ryanair's hand luggage rules.
The airline recently clapped back at a woman when she tweeted about the view from her allocated seat, complaining that she didn't have a window seat.

She wrote: "When you pay for a window and you get no window? Who is giving me the money back?”
Ryanair replied with a cheeky comment a day later: "We sell seats, not windows, Paula."
