TENERIFE is known to be a family favourite when it comes to beach holidays.
The Spanish island features many kid-friendly resorts with kids' clubs, activities, water sports and even hotels with on-site waterparks.
The resorts included will have most amenities on site, but there's also plenty to do on the island.
You'll find anything from boat trips, endless miles of sandy beaches to water sports and hiking trails.
Tenerife is also home to Siam Park, the number one waterpark in the world on TripAdvisor.

1. Tagoro Family & Fun Costa Adeje
The Tagoro Family & Fun resort features an outdoor freshwater pool with a heated children's section and a splash park with water guns, tipping water bucket and sprinklers.
A children's club for kids up to twelve years old is available until 4pm every day, and it includes a range of activities like arts and crafts, sports, music and some video games time.
The children's playground is open all day and has swings, slides and a climbing frame.

For the adults, a spa and an air-conditioned gym are available, as well as as a salon with beauty treatments and hairdresser services.

2. HOVIMA La Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel
The HOMIVA La Pinta resort is located on the beach and is less than a mile away from the Costa Adeje resort centre.
The hotel features two outdoor pools and a splash park with water cannons and a waterfall.
There are two bars, including a snack bar and cocktail bar, and two restaurants including a buffet and one à la carte restaurant serving international cuisine.
During the day time, a children's club for children between six months and three years old is available, as well as one for older kids up to the age of twelve.

3. Compostela Beach Golf Apartments And Siam Park – Splash World
The apartments at the Compostela Beach Golf feature an on-site pool with a children's section and a pool bar.
The Siam Park waterpark is a five-minute drive from the apartments and guests get unlimited access.
The waterpark features many rides, including nine slides, waterfalls, a huge wave pool and the "Tower of Power", a 28m water slide with speeds of up to 49mph, while passing through an aquarium full of sharks and rays.
Dinner at the apartments includes a buffet from around the world and themed nights.

4. Iberostar Las Dalias – Costa Adeje
Located in the heart of Costa Adeje, the Iberostar Las Dalias features three outdoor pools, including a kids' one and one for adults only.
Different kids' club are available, for children from ages four to seventeen, and an entertainment programme is available every night, with live music, magic shows and dance parties, including a mini-disco.
The hotel also has a range of sports and activities for both kids and adults, including darts, squash, aqua aerobics and more.
The Siam Park waterpark is also a three-minute drive from the hotel and features more than 20 water rides and slides.

5. Royal Sun Suites Apartments
The cliffside Royal Sun Suite apartments give guests sea views from all over the resort.
The best spot to catch the incredible scenery is in the two-tiered pool area. The big pool on the lower level has a whirlpool, while the children's pool on the upper tier includes waterfall cascades.
All the apartments come furnished with a 40-inch tv, large terrace with sunbeds and a kitchenette.
The mini club is available until 10pm every day, but it requires parental supervision at all times.

6. Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife
The Hard Rock Hotel in Tenerife has three pools and is located right on the Playa Paraiso beach, where guests will find bars with live bands and DJs.
There's a kids pool with its own swim-up bar for snacks and drinks, as well as a kids' club and a "club lullaby" for infants up to three years old.
The "teen spirit" hangout spot is also open daily, and children aged eleven to sixteen will find board games, video games consoles and a place to relax with their peers.

7. Paradise Park Fun Lifestyle Hotel
The Paradise Park Fun Lifestyle hotel features two adult-only pools and one children's section in the main one, with an inflatable obstacle course.
The Atlantida outdoor pool has spa pools, a jacuzzi and water massage sunbeds, and it's located in the neighbouring leisure park.
A mini club is available with activities and mini discos, as well as live music and entertainment every night.
The hotel boasts two restaurants, one serving lunch and the other one being a buffet place, serving local and international cuisine with live cooking stations.

8. LABRANDA Suites Costa Adeje
The Labranda suites resort is great for little ones, as it features a play area, kids' pool, splash park and kid-friendly meals.
The kids' clubs include different activities throughout the day, varying from outdoor games to team building activities, painting and themed parties.
While the kids are living it up in the kids' club, adults can enjoy massages at the spa, go to the fitness centre with garden views or relax on the rooftop sunbathing terrace, with great views of the surrounding mountains.
