The UK government has confirmed a new traffic light scheme which will allow travel to open up again.

It will class countries as either green, amber, or red, depending on the state of the pandemic and rate of vaccinations although which countries this includes will be revealed next month.

Travellers from green list countries will be required to have a negative test before returning to the UK, as well as another test on day two after returning.

Croatia could be on the list but this depends on its vaccine rollout and Covid cases.

Amber country arrivals will need to test and also isolate at home and anyone returning from red countries will have to quarantine in a a government-mandated hotel at a cost of £1,750 per person.
