One couple out of Ekin-Su and Davide, Indiyah and Dami, Gemma and Luca snf Tasha and Andrew will be crowned Love Island winners 2022.

But as we wait to find out who has won this series, viewers might be wondering what happened to previous winning couples.

Sadly, few winners have remained together and while some have gone on to great success, others have faded from the celebrity scene.

From Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey’s family life of marriage and kids to Dani Dyer’s chequered love life and a child with a convicted fraudster, the Love Island winners are a mixed bag.

Here, FEMAIL details what each of the previous seven seasons’ winners are up to now…

Season One (2015): Jess Hayes and Max Morley

Jess Hayes and Max Morley were the first ever winners of Love Island but split up just six weeks after the final

First winners: Jessica Hayes and Max Morley scooped the title as the series one winners in 2015

Different experiences: Max has dated the likes of fellow reality stars Zara Holland, Charlotte Crosby, and Laura Anderson [pictured left] while Jess is now a mother to son Presley, who will be two this year, and engaged to Dan Lawry whom she met in the spring of 2018 [pictured right]

Jess (pictured on Love Island Aftersun on July 10, this year) has a three-year-old son with mechanic Dan Lawry called Presley. She and Dan were engaged after Presley was born but broke up in May 2021 and now co-parent their son.

Jess Hayes and Max Morley found themselves on the surprise hit of the summer when they signed up for the first ever series of Love Island in 2015.

Although the contestants became stars, the reality show wasn’t quite the guaranteed star-maker it is today.

The couple walked away with the prize money, pipping favourites Hannah Elizabeth and Jonathan Clark to the top spot.

However their showmance didn’t last long and the pair split just six weeks after the cameras stopped rolling.

Max was quick to dust himself off and dated a string of other reality TV beauties including fellow former Love Islanders Zara Holland (series two) and Laura Anderson (series five).

He also appeared on Ex on the Beach in 2017 and had a fling with Charlotte Crosby.

Since then he has faded from the limelight and is thought to be working as a recruiter.

He rarely posts on his social media accounts. He has not revealed who his partner is but they had a baby boy called Brooklyn in November 2021.

Jess has also experienced the joys of parenthood.

The social media star, who boasts almost 400,000 followers on Instagram, fell in love with mechanic Dan Lawry in 2018.

The couple welcomed a baby boy, Presley, the following year and her Instagram account is testament to the love and devotion she has for her son.

She and Dan were engaged after Presley was born but broke up in May 2021 and now co-parent their son.

Tara recently appeared on Love Island: After Sun to deliver her verdict on this year’s show.

Season Two (2016): Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey

Success story: Not only are series two winners Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde still together, they are married with two children

Although the couple has remained in the public eye, Cara has often spoken about her struggles with depression, anxiety and OCD

They went from looking after a fake child on the babies episode of the reality TV show to having their own kids

The couple have two children together, Delilah, four, and a 21-month-old son called Freddie

Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey didn’t have a typical life after Love Island but they did make their romance work.

After he left the villa Nathan had to working on a building site within six months.

The carpenter admitted he was embarrassed to go back to work but he is now happily married to Cara and the pair are one of the only winning couples remaining together.

Cara and Nathan got married in June 2019 and have two children together – Delilah, four, and 21-month-old son Freddie.

Although the couple has remained in the public eye, Cara has often spoken about her struggles with depression, anxiety and OCD.

Since she was 16 she has been on various medication to deal with her mental health issues.

The star has been very open about her troubles and has accepted she may always have bouts of depression.

Season Three (2017): Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay

Amber and Kem won the third season of Love Island, with Amber reduced to tears by her partner’s loving speech in the finale

Amber has made appearances in reality shows such as And They’re Off! as well as documentaries including Amber & Dolly: 9 to 5 and When Reality TV Goes Horribly Wrong

Kem has co-presented Love Island: The Morning after since 2018 and even released a music single

Amber and Kem stormed to victory in season three but it was just four months before the fans’ favourite couple broke up.

However, since the couple took the Love Island crown in 2017, both Amber and Kem have had successful careers on and off the screen.

Amber catapulted to TV fame after her time in the villa and has made appearances in reality shows such as And They’re Off! as well as documentaries including Amber & Dolly: 9 to 5 and When Reality TV Goes Horribly Wrong.

Meanwhile, Kem has co-presented Love Island: The Morning After since 2018 and even released a single with fellow former islander Chris Hughes that peaked at 15th in the UK music charts.

He failed to impress on Celebrity Masterchef after awkwardly boiling a pineapple in red wine.

However, the Essex lad still opened his own restaurant in Romford called Array that has everything from mac and cheese to caviar on the menu.

Season Four (2018): Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham

Dani Dyer had a child called Santiago with ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence, who was jailed for three years in 2021 for scamming pensioners out of £34,000

Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer famously refrained from having sex in the Love Island villa and then went on to win the nation’s hearts

Dani Dyer – daughter of British actor Danny – and Jack Fincham were together throughout the entirety of their Love Island tenure

Split: They coupled up on day one and went on to win the series, moving in together swiftly after and bagging their own reality show spin-off Jack & Dani: Life After Love Island. They parted ways in 2019

Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer were another strong couple and fan favourites almost from day one.

They famously refrained from having sex in the Love Island villa and went on to win the nation’s hearts as Jack sweetly asked her to be his girlfriend.

Days after leaving, Jack told The Sun: ‘We’re getting married next year, 100 per cent. Like my mum said to me so many times, “When you know about someone, you just know.” And now I know what she’s talking about. I just know that that’s what we want to do.’

However, the romance wasn’t to last and even though they moved into their own falt the couple broke up after five months.

Dani has made several TV appearances, including as Jeanette in Eastenders last year alongside her father Danny.

After her relationship with Jack broke up she has been dealt a tough set of cards in the love arena.

She had a chiled called Santiago with ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence only for him to be jailed for three years in 2021 for scamming pensioners out of £34,000.

Meanwhile, Jack had a baby daughter called Blossom with one-time fling Casey Ranger but the pair did not stay together.

Jack has struggled to find success after leaving the villa and has even had a brush with the law.

The TV star was spotted by police in January 2021 in his £30,000 Mercedes near his home in Swanley.

Prosecutors said he was found to have high levels of cocaine by-product, as well as Valium, in his blood, but his lawyers argued that the blood test taken was a ‘false positive’.

Jack later had his drug-driving charges dropped after a lack of ‘reliable evidence’.

Season Five (2019): Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea

Done and dusted: Amber Gill won Love Island 2019 and the £50,000 prize money with Irish rugby player, Greg O’Shea, who was a late addition to the series

Yet she had an unceremonious split from partner Greg O’Shea, who reportedly dumped her over text just 39 days after the pair won Love Island

The honeymoon’s over: Greg appeared to be a true gentleman and a breath of fresh air for Amber which made him an instant fan favourite, but their romance was short-lived. Amber claimed he dumped her over the phone just weeks after winning the competition. Greg then shunned fame after receiving death threats over the alleged text-dumping, which he passionately denies

Amber has released a romance novel set in Tobago and will go on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins later this year

Greg O’Shea returned to Ireland to carry on his rugby sevens career. He turned down big money deals in favour of training for the Tokyo Olympics, where he and his teammates came tenth in the rugby sevens

Season Six (2020): Finn Tapp and Paige Turley

Paige Turley and Finley Tapp won the first-ever winter edition of Love Island in early 2020 and have remained together since

Finn thought he would date a couple of the islanders while he was on the show, but he didn’t expect to find The One. He explained: ‘Not in a million years did I think I would actually find someone’

Paige Turley and Finley Tapp won the first-ever winter edition of Love Island in early 2020 as the pair were crowned champions in South Africa.

Paige, who used to date popstar Lewis Capaldi, has remained with former semi-professional Finn since their win two years ago.

The couple now live together, which may have been helped by the fact they were with together for so long afterwards because of the Covid pandemic.

It was no doubt a very different post-Love Island experience to past winners.

Paige has since suggested she wants to launch a singing career, having previously appeared on Britain’s Got Talent.

Season Seven (2021): Millie Court and Liam Reardon

Split: Millie and Liam announced their split earlier this month, after a year-long romance following their Love Island win

Wow! She made sure all eyes were on her in the plain one piece which had a scoop neck cleavage that flashed her ample assets and a daring thong design at the back

Split: Newly-single Millie was taking her mind off her recent romantic woes as she enjoyed a girly holiday to Ibiza this week where she posed in a racy black swimsuit

Trio: The star – who won Love Island’s 2021 series with ex Liam, 22 – was joined on the trip by fellow villa alum Chloe Burrows and Lucinda Strafford

Current reigning Love Island champions Millie Court and Liam Reardon struggled through a tough Casa Amor bump in the road as Liam’s head was turned.

However, the pair won the show and had stayed together for a year until they split up just last month.

Millie has since insisted rumours that Liam had been unfaithful were not true, adding that the pair still ‘get on really, really well’.

Millie insisted that while whispers of infidelity circulated, they aren’t substantiated by anything.

She explained that the choice to part ways was a decision they made ‘because it wasn’t right for us’, insisting that Liam is ‘not a bad guy’.

They have since moved out of their shared home in Essex, calling it quits after growing apart in recent months, while they both pursued individual work opportunities.
