When I am thinking straight, I know they’re trying their best to help me.
But most of the time all I feel towards them is resentment.
Mum is 73 and Dad is 76.

But if I want a couple of glasses of wine, I have to drink in my room and keep it hidden from my parents.
They have been begging me to cut down and I’ve promised them I will try.

Drinking a lot of alcohol will make this harder to live with. You know your parents are doing their best for you.
Only you can decide to kick the drink and get your life back on track. When you are able, see your GP.
Once you make the decision to stop drinking, you will regain control of your life.
