You don’t have to spend a fortune revamping your home.
During lockdown, Brits have been coming up with inventive ways to do household projects themselves.
And one mum decided to give her bathroom a new lease of life by using tile stickers she purchased from Poundland.
During a recent trip to the budget retailer, the parent stumbled across the stickers for £1 each.
She used them to cover up a panel she “hated” in her bathroom – snapping up 15 of the cheap products to get the job done.
The mum was chuffed with the finished results and showed them off on Facebook.
According to the Mirror, she told the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group : "I've hated my bath panel for ages and always wondered what to do with it, but never got around to anything.
"I was in Poundland earlier and saw these tile effect stickers. I bought 20 and only needed 15, they were very easy to put on too.
"It’s totally transformed my bathroom for £15! I already had the other things around the house and gave the bathroom a lick of paint using the leftover paint I had from painting the bathroom a few months ago.
“Very happy with my bath panel now."
The lass added the white ladder used to hold towels and its baskets were purchased from IKEA a couple of years ago.
Her post garnered hundreds of positive comments – and people were very impressed with the handiwork.
One responder gushed: "Oh wow!! Brilliant, I need to do this to my panel. Thank you."
And another said: "OMG WOW… what a transformation.
“Something so simple to do has really changed the look hasn't it. Very impressive, well done!"
