DEAR DEIDRE: I AM up to my eyes in debt and think it would be better for everyone if I wasn’t here.
The worry of everything keeps me awake at night.
I am a 52-year-old woman. I am a wife, a mum of two and work full time as a care home manager.
I try to work extra hours, but this affects my relationship. I have an individual voluntary arrangement in place, but I still cannot manage.
The feeling of shame is sometimes overwhelming, but I cannot declare myself bankrupt as my dad lives in an annexe and that would make him homeless.
I have seriously considered ending my life.
If I wasn’t here I wouldn’t be a burden on anyone. I don’t know where to turn.
