“Elvis” star Olivia DeJonge is heartbroken over the death of Lisa Marie Presley.
“Shattered,” the 24-year-old actress, who portrayed Priscilla Presley in the Baz Luhrman biopic, captioned a repost of the filmmaker’s tribute on her Instagram Stories Friday.
“Privileged to have felt her magnificent presence. And forever indebted to her, for the kindness and support she showed me, and the entire Elvis family.”
DeJonge concluded, “All of my love to Priscilla, Riley, Harper and Finley.”
In the post that Luhrman, 60, originally shared, the Australian director spoke about how Lisa Marie always showed great support for the film with her “kind embrace.”
“Her sudden, shocking loss has devastated people all around the world,” he added. “I know her fans everywhere join me in sharing prayers of love and support with her mother, Priscilla, and her wonderful daughters Riley, Finley and Harper.”
Luhrman concluded, “Lisa Marie, we will miss your warmth, your smile, your love.”
Austin Butler, who played Elvis in the film and developed a close bond with Lisa Marie, also spoke out on her passing, saying he will “forever cherish” their time together.
“My heart is completely shattered for Riley, Finley, Harper and Priscilla at the tragic and unexpected loss of Lisa Marie,” the movie star added in his statement to E! News Friday.
“I am eternally grateful for the time I was lucky enough to be near her bright light and will forever cherish the quiet moments we shared. Her warmth, her love and her authenticity will always be remembered.”
Lisa Marie died at the age of 54 Thursday after going into cardiac arrest earlier in the day at her home in California.
Priscilla, 77, confirmed her and Elvis’ daughter’s death, saying in a statement at the time, “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.
“She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”
Lisa Marie is survived by her mother and three daughters: Riley, 33, and 14-year-old twins, Finley and Harper.
Her eldest daughter’s rep confirmed to Page Six Friday that the “Lights Out” singer will be laid to rest alongside her son, Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide in 2020, and her father, Elvis, in Graceland.
