Drake Promises To Buy UFC Fighters Rolexes After $3.7 Million Win

Drake continues to make serious cash through sports bet, but the rapper is giving back to the athletes who make the wagers possible, and he’s doing so in the form of a Rolex.

On Saturday, UFC London posted a screenshot of the bets Drake had placed on the night’s fights. He wagered over $2.2 million that Molly McCann would beat Hannah Goldy, and Paddy Pimblett would win against Jordan Leavitt.

The rapper’s prediction was right, and he walked away with $3.7 million thank to the bet, MMA Fighting reports.

After hearing of his million-dollar win, McCann tagged Drake in an Instagram story, asking if he’d buy her a Rolex with some of his winnings.

The musician ended up responding by agreeing to her request. “@stake Rollies for Meatball and the baddy,” he wrote, promising to buy the designer watched for both McCann and Pimblett.

Drake tagged Stake, a crypto betting platform, who re-posted his story and wrote, “Secured the W & the rollie.”

During a later interview, Pimblett expressed excitement over the rapper’s promise.

“Molly over here sends him a video right after and asked for watches and he said he’s going to give us both a Rolex,” he said. “So, we’re swimming in it.”

With his six-figure win, buying a Rolex or two likely isn’t going to make a huge dent in his earnings. The average price of a Rolex is $7,000 – $12,000, Wrist Advisor notes. But depending on a number of factors (including popularity, materials, and customization), Rolexes have also gone for over $100,000.

Drake doesn’t limit himself to putting wagers on MMA fights. He does all sorts of sports betting. Last February, he walked away with a six-figure profit after betting on the Super Bowl.

Sharing on Instagram, Drake revealed he put down $1.26 million in Bitcoin in favor of the Rams. He bet $470,000 that the team would win the Super Bowl, while he bet $390,000 that Odell Beckham Jr. would have 62.5 receiving yards. Finally, he also predicted that the wide received would get a touchdown, betting $399,000.

Both the rapper and the Rams won big. Drake ended up making $1.55 million from his wager, which gave him nearly $300,000 profits.

In May, Drake had an even more impressive win after betting $400,000 that the first-round NHL playoff series would last for seven games. He ended up making $1.2 million from the bet.
