Cheltenham Gold Cup 2018 – Bristol De Mai could still run at Prestbury Park reports Nigel Twiston-Davies

BRISTOL DE MAI could still run in the Timico Gold Cup at the Cheltenham Festival next month.

Nigel Twiston-Davies' chaser was disappointing when failing to bounce back from his King George defeat in the Cotswold Chase at Prestbury Park last month.

Connections had originally suggested ruling out a run in the Gold Cup but they are in no rush to make any definite plans.

He said: "They (tests) are still on going, but we are very pleased with him.
