Supermarket Waitrose recalled its Extra Large King Prawns (Ready to Eat) because of the presence of raw prawns.
The food giant explained that the product could contain “raw, uncooked prawns” making it “unsafe to eat”.
The Food Standards Agency shared its advice with customers and warned: “If you have bought the above product do not eat it.”
Instead, shoppers should return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
If customers have any queries or concerns they can contact Waitrose Customer Services on 0800188884, option four.
