Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Lidl and Iceland food recalls in full for August

If there is a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold, then it might be recalled.

Such alerts are issued by the Food Standards Agency while retailers that sell the items will issue a point-of-sale notice to customers.

Throughout August, a range of items were recalled from UK supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Asda and Iceland.

Tesco

The UK’s largest supermarket chain recalled several chilled pastry products because they may contain small pieces of metal and plastic.
