Morrisons launches new food box with recipes that feeds a family of four for £30

Shopping for the whole family during lockdown can be tricky – and expensive.

Thankfully, Morrisons has unveiled a new food box designed to feed a family of four for £30. It also comes with simple recipes to make meal planning easier.

Another bonus is that you get a 5% discount if you sign up for a subscription, so each box would cost you £28.50.

Inside the box, you’ll find a mix of cupboard essentials and fresh items to make five meals – which works out at £1.50 per portion.

The recipe cards include spaghetti and meatballs, chilli con carne and a veggie curry – which can’t fail to please even fussy kids.

There’s also a cheesy leek and mushroom pie and a warming sausage and butter bean bake.

The boxes also come with full retail-sized packs of ingredients, which means you’ll probably have enough food left over at the end of the week to make some extra meals.
