McDonald’s might not be everyone’s idea of a traditional Christmas meal, but there are still fans who are eager to get their hands on a Big Mac or portion of fries. The good news is, some McDonald’s stores will be open on December 25 this year.
However, this will depend on each store’s individual decision to open.
According to a statement on McDonald’s website: “Only a handful of McDonald’s restaurants open on Christmas Day, please refer to the restaurant locator to confirm if your local restaurant is open during the Christmas period and what times they are trading.”
The fast food giant advises customers to use the online restaurant locator in order to determine which store is open near them.
McDonald’s has not released a definitive list of stores open this year.
Customers will not be able to find out which branch is open near them on Christmas Day until the day itself.
Which McDonald’s stores were open last year?
Last year, McDonald’s opened 33 restaurants across the UK. However, there is no certainty whether or not the same stores will be open in 2021 – so do be sure to check your local branch in advance.
