Shoppers should lookout for a number of food products sold in supermarkets as food recall warnings have been issued. Items stocked by Tesco, Lidl, Marks & Spencer, Ocado and Co-op have been recalled.
Marks & Spencer and Ocado
Picard frozen food
Picard is recalling a selection of frozen food items as they contain allergens not listed on the package in English.
The unlisted ingredients include almonds (nuts), celery, fish, mustard, pistachios (nuts), soya, cereals containing gluten, egg, milk and sulphur dioxide.
The various food products can be bought from retailers Marks & Spencer and Ocado.

Tesco
Tesco Finest Festive Belgian Dark Chocolate Brazil Nuts
The festive treat has been recalled as some packs were incorrectly filled with Tesco Finest Festive Fruit and Nut Selection.
This means the product could contain sulphur dioxide which is not mentioned on the label, posing a risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphites.
Christmas may be behind us but shoppers are urged to check their cupboards for the festive product with the best before date of May 2021.
The affected packs are 225 grams and have the batch code L0075004.
A Tesco statement said: “If you suffer from sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites, please don’t eat this product.
“Instead, return it to a Tesco store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
Lidl
A number of chicken products have been recalled due to the possible presence of salmonella, which can cause symptoms such as fever and sickness.

Shoppers who have purchased the products can return them to stores for a full refund.
Co-op
Nescafé Shakissimo Espresso Latte
Lactalis Nestlé Chilled Dairy UK recalled as it could contain a cleaning solution which includes hydrogen peroxide, making it unsafe to consume.
The product can be bought in Co-op stores and affected packs are 190ml with the best before date of January 26, 2021.
The Food Standards Agency website stated: “If you have bought the above product do not drink it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.”
