YOU probably don't think twice about how you store your crisps.

In fact they're probably long gone before the thought even had change to form in your head.

But, ifyou all too often find yourself excited to dive into the delicious snack only to find they're stale, fear not.

Of course, there is nothing quite as sad as a soft crisp, but that doesn't mean you have to indulge in the whole bag to avoid feeling disappointed.

The pros at Life Hacker revealed the simple way you can keep your crisps, well… crisp.

Apparently, storing your crisps in the freezer can help extend their life for a few more months.

This is because of the low water content that crisps contain, meaning that the frosty temperatures in your freezer wont have the usual effect.

The crisps wont freeze, but will just turn cold – and more importantly, stay fresh.

Of course, you can let them get back to room temperature before you eat them.

Make sure to store them on top of the rest of your frozen produce, or you risk a opening up a cold bag of crumbs.
