Queen Letizia mimics Princess Diana in almost identical floral dress

Queen Letizia was photographed in the Andalusian city of Cordoba, in Spain, where she attended the third edition of Talent Tour and delivered the prizes Princess Girona Foundation to the winners. For the engagement in the south of Spain, the beautiful Queen wore a very colourful floral dress.

The midi dress with puffy sleeves is the Violeta dress from Cayro Woman which currently retails for 96 euros (£84).

The beautiful gown with a print in yellow, green, orange, blue and pink tones, features a wrap detail and an adjustable waist tie with a ring.

Queen Letizia combined the summery dress with pink pumps and a matching clutch bag from the fashion brand Magrit.

The Spanish Queen finished the look with a pair of white gold and diamond earrings from San Eloy Joyeros, one of her favourite designers.

Interestingly, Princess Diana wore an almost identical midi dress with short puffy sleeves when she visited the city of Seville, also in Andalusia, in 1992.

For her Spanish trip with Prince Charles, where she also met the Royal Family of Spain, the late Princess of Wales donned her Bellville Sassoon floral gown in blue, yellow, green and pink.

A royal fan and Instagram user @sunshineandstars25 commented on the social media platform: “This dress really reminds me of the floral colourful dress that Princess Diana used to wear a lot.”
