AN Asian beauty regime takes many forms, but there is one that is more unusual than most.
One mom literally hasn't aged a day in her life, according to her daughter.
But the biggest tip she was taught had nothing to do with skincare.
It did, however, have a lot to do with hair control, or, to be more exact, body hair control.
For some commenters, it was a step too far, with the pain threshold more than they could ever bear.
Not so for Rachel (@raxhellam), who has 37,000 followers on TikTok.
In this post, she shared one of her ageless mom's secrets: “Asian mom beauty hack," she said.
“If there is anything my Asian mom has taught me, who literally hasn’t aged in a day in her life, is never to shave your armpits," Rachel confided.
Rachel has heeded her mom's wise words and is now enjoying the benefits of this regime.
“Like literally I barely even get any hair here [armpits] anymore," she enthused.

She took out her secret weapon: “And it’s because of these tweezers is why my armpits are not that dark."
On occasions when she was unable to tweeze the area, she could see the difference.
“Like when I forget to bring my tweezers on vacation or something, then I have to shave my armpits," she wrote.
“But literally immediately after I shave my armpits, it just comes back a lot darker and there just happens to be way more hair."
Tweezing, she figured, meant less hair regrowth.
“I swear to God whenever I tweeze I only get maybe ten hairs on my armpits."
She urged others to give it a go: "If you struggle with dark armpits then definitely go try plucking them or waxing them off.
“Because I swear to God it will change your life. And your armpits will be glowing.”
Commenters appreciated the tip but didn't think they could go through the torture.
“It hurts like hell though," grimaced one person.
There were similar sentiments from a second person: "No way. I did one time and my soul left my body from the pain.”
This viewer used a different hair removal device, but the agony was real: “I use an epilator, and when I tell you I cry every time.”

Another fan warned it was a time-consuming job: “It took me like three hours to finish one arm pit."
There were, however, some who relished the task: “I literally love tweezing. It’s so much better. I’m glad I stopped shaving.”
