TRYING to figure out how to stop your hair from shedding can be extremely stressful after you notice the early signs of thinning.
However, a beauty lover who suffered from hair loss has revealed the easy solutions that helped to restore her locks.
Monique (@moniquemrapier) boasts over 584,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares advice for long healthy hair.
She took to the social media platform to reveal how thin her hair was before she started to nurture it with home remedies.
Sharing before and after snaps, she said: “How I transformed my thinning hair from this to this.”
Monique’s hair was visibly fuller and enviably shiny in the after-photos, having previously been so thin that her scalp could be seen.
The text over the video read: “1. Overnight hair oil, masks with a pre-scalp massage twice a week.
“Oils I used – castor, black seed, and rosemary.
“2. Sleeping with a silk bonnet every night or a silk pillowcase.”
Monique donned a black silk bonnet to reveal how she usually wraps her hair before going to sleep.

The text continued: “3. Rarely blow drying or adding heat above my ear.
“4. Started taking Biotin, 5. Found out my hair needed more protein & began using rice water to stimulate new growth.
“6. Used a clarifying shampoo once a week to remove buildup.”
She captioned the post: “Hair oil masks are a MUST. Comment your questions!”
She included the hashtags #hairgrowth, #hairtransformation, and #hairtips.
Monique said it took three months for her to see results.
She uses oil at least once a week, the night before washing her hair with OUAI detox shampoo.
The video went viral with over 3.5 million views, 151,000 likes, and a flood of comments from people amazed by her hair transformation.
Others were eager to ask for advice on their specific hair problems including a lack of growth and loss of volume.
One person wrote: “Your before looks a lot like my hair so it gives me hope seeing how beautiful yours is now.”
