I did a curvy girl Shein haul for fall – I was obsessed with the skirts but the last style was showing off way too much | The Sun

A FASHION fan's curvy girl fall collection has featured some hits and some misses.

Some items she loved but one fell far short of her expectations.

The skirts in particular were the star of the show and she admitted to being obsessed by them.

But the last style left her feeling more exposed than she would feel comfortable with.

Caylin Gibson (@caylins_corner) is a lifestyle and fashion content producer from Dallas.

In this post, she shared the fruits of her online shopping expedition.

“Shein haul, curvy girl edition," she began, stepping out in her first outfit.

Then continued: "My recent fall pickups from Shein."

First out was a Butterfly slogan Tank Top for $6 with contrasting binding.

She matched it with a casual pair of black shorts for a relaxed look.

It was onto a figure-hugging dress next and she looked very pleased with herself in this one.

The black tube denim dress was $21 and she gave it a five-star rating.

This was followed by several skirts, two of them were a very particular style.

"Can you tell I’m obsessed with cargo skirts?” she asked.

First of these was a beige-colored flap pocket denim skirt for $19.

The next she modelled was a copy but this time in blue denim, also for $19.

She liked these a lot. But she was less sure about the last skirt in her collection.

It was a high-waisted black pleated mini skirt for just $11.

It did little in the way of coverage and there wasn't very much confidence in it: “She’s short," she exclaimed.

Commenters thought they all looked good on her.

“You look good in everything,” said one person.

Her haul inspired this lady: “Girl, I got to go and place another Shein order.”

But there was discontent from this former customer.

“And after one washing machine everything goes in the trash. I’d rather add a few more dollars and buy clothes that will last for at least two years."

But Caylin didn't agree: "My Shein pieces last."
