VEJA Utilizes Recycled Materials for the Condor 2 Sustainable Running Sneaker

Following on from a series of Rick Owens collaborations, VEJA has now turned its attention to running with the launch of the Condor 2 sneaker. The latest evolution of the brand’s Condor sneaker sees VEJA reaffirm its sustainable ethos, with new materials and technical advancements added to the performance silhouette.

The Condor 2 has been designed with a reshaped and flattened midsole, which has been chosen to give the wearer a lighter tread. Additionally, the sneaker now has a lighter upper to decrease the weight and L-Foam cushioning for extra comfort and protection.

VEJA has used a variety of sustainable materials to construct the Condor 2, with 58% of the sneaker being bio-based and recycled. This includes the tech lining, laces, cords and upper, all of which are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.
